REDEVELOPEMENT

Re-development is not a competitive game where society and developer have to strike goals against each other, rather it is a joint venture in which the Developer and the Society have to work in harmony towards common goals and objectives, which both of them have to achieve in a mutually beneficial, ethical & healthy relationship with each other.

Redevelopment is the process of demolishing exiting old dilapidated society building and reconstructing it by appointing a good developer who can construct and hand over new flats within stipulated time to the society members free of cost with better modern day amenities.

 

The old society building were built over a period of 3–4 decades and are in very bad shape. Infrastructure facilities for electricity, water and sewage are overloaded and need immediate revamp. Societies need huge funds to undertake major repair. The structure of old buildings have outlived its life and need to be pulled and developed afresh as further repairs to the existing structure won’t be advisable and feasible. Redeveloped building have negligible maintenance and repair cost at least for 15 -20 years. Members get new flat with bigger area and with amenities.
